Tasmania/Melbourne
Engagement surprise with Tijen & Jeraldine

Tijen told me: "I'm going to propose on a road trip in Tasmania!" and we worked on a plan and the location for this to happen! The Neck Lookout point at Bruny Island quickly caught our hearts. The converging coasts just like how 2 souls come together as one, amazing! The sunset came early and really gave us that extra glow and shine on top of that diamond ring! Jeraldine of course said yes!

They say you can experience different seasons in Tasmania and that is so true. Much more difficult to photograph but be truly rewarded by the changing scene. Turning winter, our track at Dove Lake in Cradle Mountain was much easier and enjoyable!

Drove to the popular spots along Great Ocean Road once we flew back into Melbourne. Housed in one of the Airbnb nearby, wanting to witness sunrise there but wasn't blessed with one. However, we got the whole beach at Gibson Steps to ourselves and gosh, it was romantic! Road trips like that are so much more relaxing.

Catching popular spots with tourists also means dealing with massive crowd. The couple was really enthusiastic on waking up early and getting there in time for the best dusk/dawn colours. I already can't wait for their actual day to come!

Thank you Tijen and Jeraldine for having me :)
